The Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supportingsurvivors of acid attacks and preventing acid violence. Founded in 1999, over the years, theorganization established itself as a specialized one-stop-service centre dedicated to the needs ofacid survivors and advocacy for the elimination of acid violence. Utilizing a homegrown bio-psycho-social model, ASF offers comprehensive support services free of cost to acid survivors,including medical treatment, psychological counselling, legal assistance, empowerment initiatives,awareness campaigns, advocacy, and research. In this journey, it has engaged the government,relevant national and international NGOs, media, civil society forces, the private sector, donors,and acid survivors.
Job Summary
The Fundraising Manager will play a vital role in securing funding to support the organization’smission. S/he will develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, manage donor relations,and coordinate campaigns and events. The successful candidate will bring a mix of creativity,organization, and relationship-building skills, with a passion for advancing the goals of theorganization.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Fundraising Strategy, Planning, and Developing Proposals to Secure Funding Support
- Develop and implement fundraising plans aligned with the organization’s mission andfinancial goals.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
- Create tailored campaigns (online, in-person, and hybrid) for various institutional donors,including individual, corporate, foundation donors and the Government of Bangladesh.
- Develop quarterly at least one funding proposal/grant application to support ASF’s mission,objectives and to achieve financial goals.
- Develop concept papers and funding requests to secure support from various sources
- Donor Relations & Stewardship
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing donors, sponsors, and partners
- Ensure timely acknowledgments and reporting to donors, including impact reports thatdemonstrate the difference their contributions make.
- Maintain information on different funding sources in one data file that ASF receives fromdifferent types of donors; and advice on innovative structuring, events and monitoringdonations.
- Campaign Management
- Plan and execute fundraising events, donation drives, online giving campaigns, and otherinitiatives.
- Create compelling fundraising materials (brochures, emails, social media posts, etc.).
- Track and analyze the performance of fundraising activities, adjust strategies for optimalresults in alignments with programmatic targets.
- Reporting
- Open a resource mobilization data-file and regular update and maintain records andstatistics on donors and donations.
- Analyze and prepare reports on fundraising progress, highlighting successes, areas forimprovements, and future projections.
- Work with the finance team to ensure alignment of donations with financial reporting andcompliance standards.
- Assist ED to make presentations for donors, and stakeholders on fund raising activities
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Salary: Monthly gross salary Taka 100,000 (One lac) only including Tax
- Other benefits: Project bonus, mobile allowance and other benefits as per Human Resource Policy
- Manual of the organization.
- Workdays and work hours: 5 days in a week from Sunday-Thursday. Office Time is 8:30am -4:30pm including 30 minutes lunch break.
